Smoking Cessation

Oldham County Health Department offers classes that can help you stop smoking. The classes use the ‘Freedom from Smoking’ method, a 13-week course that meets one hour per week and uses nicotine replacement products and group support. This highly successful program is science-based utilizing proven methods, which include education, skills training and social support.

To request information or schedule a class, email ElizabethF.Burrows@ky.gov or call 502-222-3516, ext. 143. Free classes are held at the Oldham County Health Department, and offer nicotine replacement products free of charge.

*Classes are taught by a health educator trained by Drs. Cooper and Clayton.
